The Alfa Romeo Owners' Club is organising a visit to the Lascaris War Rooms this morning. Participants of the tour will experience the turbulent days of the second Great Siege during the World War II and see the actual  refurbished  command  rooms which served as the British forces' operational  nerve  centre  in  those difficult years.

Also on display are maps, models and dioramas including full-length figures.

Participants will assemble at the Millennia Store, Marsa, at 8.45 a.m., arriving at the War Memorial at Floriana at 9.35, where participants will drive counter-clockwise around the capital, via the Customs House, the Mediterranean Conference Centre and Fort St Elmo, then along the Great Ditch via the Yellow Garage and on to the Lascaris War Rooms.

Admission is Lm1.75 for adults and 85c for children. During the visit members' cars will be looked after by club-appointed officials. Family, friends and non-members are welcome.
