At the Cherry Tree Bar and Restaurant we are able to show five games or any other sporting event simultaneously in six different areas within the premises. We allocate a particular event to a particular area depending on how great the demand is.
At the Cherry Tree Bar and Restaurant we are able to show five games or any other sporting event simultaneously in six different areas within the premises. We allocate a particular event to a particular area depending on how great the demand is. Besides the English, Italian, Spanish football and all other major sporting events we also show the Maltese Premier League matches whenever these are televised.
If Mr Benn (The Sunday Times, September 23) came to watch the Malta vs Turkey match, he knows very well that the first half of this match was being shown on the larger screen outdoors as this game started at 8 p.m. .As the demand to watch the Italy vs France match was much bigger (including dinner/table reservations for 46 people) we had no option but to screen the Italy vs France match on the larger screen outdoors while continuing to screen the Malta vs Turkey match on two smaller screens inside the restaurant.
I watched the Malta game while enjoying my dinner and, proud of the result, screened a repeat of the game on the larger screen outdoors later on in the evening.
We always try to please our patrons at the Cherry Tree but any particular match or event with the largest following has to take priority on the outside larger screen for obvious reasons.
