MISCO offers ILM-accredited management programmes

MISCO has recently become an accredited centre offering management qualifications awarded by the Institute of Leadership and Management (ILM), a premier awarding body based in the UK.

As from October, MISCO will be offering two ILM-accredited programmes: the Introductory and full Certificate in Management.

The first is a short, flexible programme (34 hours) - an introduction to the wide range of skills and responsibilities required by first line managers (team leaders or supervisors). It may take from one week up to a maximum of one year, and is intended as a first step for practising or aspiring managers. Upon successful completion of the introductory certificate, participants may progress to the full certificate in management.

The certificate in management is a comprehensive qualification (160 hours) that covers the full range of responsibilities a first line manager encounters. It may take from a year to a maximum of three years, and aims at giving practising and potential first line managers an in-depth starting tool for their formal management development. This qualification is available either as an integrated certificate or as a modular certificate in management.

Both programmes focus on the key areas of management and consist of a variety of core (mandatory) and optional sessions, to permit flexibility in meeting individual needs.

ILM as an organisation is at the forefront of management and leadership training, and has enabled a multitude of managers to improve their performance, bringing real benefits to their organisation.

MISCO is a professional organisation equipped to provide training and education, management and marketing consultancy, market research and people selection services since 1983.

Candidates interested in obtaining further details regarding ILM-accredited programmes may choose to attend one of two meetings to be held at MISCO (1st Floor, Fino Buildings, Notabile Road, Mriehel) either on Wednesday at 5.30 p.m. or on Thursday at 9 a.m. Kindly confirm your attendance at the meeting by contacting Adriana Tedesco on 2205-4602 or by e-mail atedesco@miscomalta.com.
