Diamonds International appointed Chanel watches exclusive representative

Diamonds International of Republic Street, Valletta, and Portomaso, have been appointed local exclusive representatives for Chanel watches.

The Chanel watch collection, developed in the company's new Chanel 8,000-square metre workshops in the watch-making cradle of La Chaux-de Fonds in Switzerland, includes the J12 collection, one of today's watch-making icons created by Jacques Helleu. This creative spark is transformed into innovative products using modern tools at every stage.

In Helleu's own words: "Primarily, I created the 'J12' for myself. I wanted a timeless watch, in glossy black, indestructible."

Diamonds International director Karl Micallef said the jewellers were delighted with this appointment. "This can be compared to being granted a certificate of professional efficiency. We are really honoured to add yet another exclusive international name to the brands we already represent."

The Chanel watch collection may now be viewed at the Diamonds International boutique at Portomaso.
