The Summer Swimming School, run by the management of the Malta FA Pool at the Millennium Stand, Ta' Qali, came to a close last week.

As always, the swimming school placed special emphasis on the elements of fun and learning.

Children of different ages and abilities trained under the guidance of the school's coaching staff, under the leadership of Alfred G. Cachia.

Other activities included PE lessons in swimming for Fourth and Fifth Former students who will be taking PE as an 'O' Level subject in the forthcoming MATSEC exams.

At present, the management of the Malta FA Swimming Pool is receiving applications for the winter programme with lessons scheduled to be held every Fridays from 4 till 6 p.m. and on Saturday from 9.30-11.30 a.m.

The first training sessions are to take place on October 5 and 6.
