A set of six stamps entitled Occasions will be issued by Maltapost's Philatelic Bureau today.

The stamps were designed by Harry Borg and printed on Maltese Crosses watermarked paper by Printex Ltd, Qormi.

The stamps are 35mm by 23mm in size, with a perforation of 14.28 by 14.28 (comb). They are available in sheets of 10.

All the six stamps in the set have a denomination of "8c/€0.19". Unlike other stamp issues, this will have an extended sales period.

The set will be available in first day cover, mint and cancelled formats, and as a souvenir folder and presentation pack.
