Obituary

AXISA. On September 21, at St Luke's Hospital, Major EDDIE AXISA, MBE, late RMA, of Sliema, aged 87, passed away peacefully, comforted by the rites of Holy Church. Loved and remembered by his wife Carmelina, née Attard, his beloved only daughter Mary, wife of Ray Runza, his grandson Robert, Sue and his great-grandson Nicky, his sister Joyce Abela, family, other relatives and friends.
The funeral leaves St Luke's Hospital tomorrow at 1.30 p.m. for St Gregory's parish church, Sliema, where Mass praesente cadavere will be said at 2 p.m., followed by interment in the family grave at the Santa Maria Addolorata Cemetery. No flowers by request but donations to the Down Syndrome Association, Valletta, will be greatly appreciated.

BELL. On September 22, at St Luke's Hospital, VIVIENNE, of Rabat, aged 67, passed peacefully away comforted by the rites of Holy Church. She leaves to mourn her loss her husband Norman, children David and his wife Sally and their son Owen, Albert and his wife Marvic, her brother Paul Borg and his wife Guza and Paul Tonna, widower of her sister Rose, nephews and nieces, other relatives and friends - R.I.P.
The funeral leaves St Luke's Hospital today at 8 a.m. for the Fgura parish church, where Mass praesente cadavere will be said at 8.30 a.m., followed by interment at Santa Margherita Cemetery, Rabat.

CAMILLERI. On September 23, GEORGINA, aged 62, ex-assistant head at Siggiewi Primary School, comforted by the rites of Holy Church. She leaves to mourn her loss her sisters Kitty Vassallo, Anne and her husband Kristinu Giordmaina, Nikolina and her husband Philip Cilia, her nephews Manuel and his wife Joanna, Jesmond and his wife Joanna, Mario, Theresa and Anton, other relatives and friends - R.I.P.
The funeral leaves St Luke's Hospital at 3.30 p.m. today for St Nicholas parish church, Siggiewi where Mass praesente cadavere will be said at 4 p.m. followed by interment in the family vault at Siggiewi Cemetery.

ELLUL. On September 23, at St Luke's Hospital, JOHN, son of the late Edgar and Imperia, aged 55, passed away peacefully comforted by the rites of Holy Church. He leaves to mourn his loss his brothers Vincent and his wife Margaret, Raymond and his wife Pauline and Edgar, his sisters Catherine and her husband Saviour, Maryanne and her husband Roger, and Lilian, nephews and nieces, other relatives and friends - R.I.P.

FRENDO. On September 23, VIOLET née Camilleri, of Attard, aged 86, widow of Charles, passed away peacefully at Zammit Clapp Hospital comforted by the rites of Holy Church. She leaves to mourn her loss her sons Joseph and his wife MaryAnn, Mario and his wife Emily, Bernard and his wife Josephine, her grandchildren Elaine, Chantelle, Daria, Andrea, Reuben, other relatives and friends.
The funeral leaves Zammit Clapp Hospital tomorrow at 8.30 a.m. for Attard parish church, where Mass praesente cadavere will be said at 9 a.m. followed by interment in the family grave at Mosta Cemetery.

MONS VINCENT. On September 23, FREDERICK, aged 91, passed away peacefully at his residence in Burmarrad. He leaves to mourn his loss his loving wife Annette, his daughter Hazel, his granddaughter Trina, his grandson Roger and all the family and friends.
The funeral leaves St Luke's Hospital tomorrow at 9 a.m. to the Burmarrad cemetery where a religious service will be held at 9.30 a.m. followed by interment.

SERRACINO-INGLOTT. On September 22, at Zammit Clapp Hospital, MARIO, aged 72, comforted by the rites of Holy Church and surrounded by his family. He leaves to mourn his loss his wife Antida, née Fsadni, his daughter Lara, his brother Aldo and his wife Vinnie, his sisters Vanda, Laura and her husband George, and Selma and her husband René, his nephews and nieces, other relatives and friends.
The funeral leaves Zammit Clapp Hospital today at 2 p.m. for Mary Immaculate Mother of the Church parish church, Ta' l-Ibrag, where Mass praesente cadavere will be celebrated at 2.30 p.m., followed by interment at Santa Maria Addolorata Cemetery.
