Maltese chalk up five medals in Palermo

Maltese wrestlers captured five medals at the Grand Prix of Sicily last weekend. In the teams' classification, Malta finished sixth out of 23 entries.

Aidan Buhagiar clinched Malta's only gold medal in Palermo, Abraham Vassallo, Adam Vella and Matthew Bonnici got silver and Andrea Saliba returned home with a bronze medal.

The Maltese wrestlers were under the guidance of national coach Jesmond Giordimaina.
