Judges hailed the Discovery 3's exceptional capability, saying: "The Discovery 3 will happily tow at 60 mph (96.6 km/h) all day, and smoothes away bumps that are felt with a thump in many other 4x4s.
"Nothing else in this class is as accomplished as an all-rounder; it's great to drive solo, tows with gusto and is supremely practical."
