The quaint town of San Lawrenz, in Gozo, is making the final preparations for the 3D - from Dusk till Dawn Festival - at Dwejra between Friday and Saturday.

The local council has secured funds from the European Commission, the Ministry for Gozo, the Ministry for Tourism and Culture and from a number of sponsors for the festival.

The event will feature guided walks and boat rides, exhibitions and poetry readings, concerts, local food and fireworks displays.

Folk songs will go hand in hand with music by Tribali, Chasing Pandora and the Bitterside band.

The festival will run parallel with an international conference on The European Identity: Discovering Our Roots For A Better Future, with the participation of Colle Umberto from northern Italy and another town from France.
