Back to school!
Are you starting school or going to a new school? Here are some ways to make it more fun.
A new school means a new way of studying and it will take you time to get used to the changes. But most teachers are used to welcoming newcomers and you will soon make friends and feel at home.
Make sure all the things you need are in your school bag the night before. Ask for something you especially like in your lunchbox so you have a treat to look forward to.
You have probably already visited your school and know where your classroom is. But set off early enough to walk to school or catch the school bus without having to rush. Then you'll have time to take some photos to remind you of this special day. If you have a friend who is going to the same school, try and arrive together.
Look for someone you already know during break time so you have someone to play with or talk to. And if you see someone on their own ask them to join you. You may be making a new best friend.
And, this is very important, never be afraid to ask if there's something you don't know.
