Search on for face of Vodafone

Vodafone Malta has launched a nationwide search for its new face to feature in Vodafone's 2008 advertising campaigns.

This promotion gives Vodafone customers having an MMS enabled mobile phone the possibility to become a personality and be Vodafone's new face. Apart from this, the winner of the competition will also get Lm500 (€1,164) in cash, a Vodafone 3G handset and other Vodafone merchandise.

Customers wishing to participate may send their photo via MMS to mms.mt@vodafone.com by not later than October 28.

Each MMS costs 20c (€0.46c) and only images received through MMS will be accepted. "This is the first time Vodafone is doing something of the sort. We're giving our customers the possibility to be part of our advertising campaigns and actually be the Vodafone Face. We're confident that such a promotion will prove fun to our customers and we encourage everyone to participate," said Heathcliff Farrugia, consumer marketing executive.
