Two held over drugs

A teenager and a 20-year-old from Sliema have been arrested after being found in possession of around 250 grammes of cannabis last Sunday.

The two are expected to be charged in court this morning with drug possession and trafficking.

The police said the young men were arrested after being stopped by officers at Savoy Hill in Gzira.

Duty magistrate Silvio Meli was informed of the case and appointed a number of experts to assist with the inquiry.
