Alan Montanaro, principal of the Helen O'Grady Academy, recently returned from the UK where he was presented with an achievement award for reaching the franchise's goals. During the presentation of the award in Guernsey, a message from the Australia-based founder Helen O'Grady was addressed to the growing Maltese branch:
"I extend warm wishes of congratulations to our teachers in Malta, their students and their parents. Collectively, we all have the power to affect such positive development in the lives of all the students we teach."
The concept and philosophy behind the academy is to provide children with a drama programme that's been specifically designed to increase their confidence, self-esteem, communicative ability and creative talents.
