Donation of nursing beds

Having had the honour of helping homes for persons with disability in Malta and Gozo, I am ready to continue to do so in order for the residents to receive therapeutic warm message water without any strain on the part of nurses or handlers.

So far I have donated 10 Hammett Nursing Beds to these places and constructed one Hammett Nursing Bed Complex at Dar tal-Providenza where I donated two nursing beds and one roof hoist. This enabled the residents to be carried for nursing or bathing, being lifted simply at the touch of a switch. All the nursing work required is thus done in a hygienic and comfortable way. Next October I will donate a similar roof hoist to Arka Foundation in Gozo.

So far I have donated:

One nursing bed each to Razzett tal-Hbiberija in Marsascala, San Miguel School for disabled children, a home for disabled youths in Denmark, the main hospital in Dubai and the Gozo government hospital.

I have also donated two nursing beds to Dar tal-Providenza and three to Arka Foundation in Gozo.

Very soon I will be donating one nursing bed to Corradino Rehabilitation Centre and another to St Catharine Hospital in Attard, and I have offered one nursing bed to Boffa Hospital.

I am willing to continue to furnish these nursing beds free of charge to other homes for the disabled in Malta and Gozo.

The beds have all proved satisfactory as has been confirmed by the hydrotherapists of these homes. They give the best therapeutic nursing aid or relaxing bathing with no need to lift the persons in and out of the bath as everything is done by means of a switch.

So it will be a pleasure to make certain that most homes for the disabled in Malta and Gozo will have these nursing beds in order to meet the needs of the residents and handlers.
