A 27-year-old motorcyclist from Rabat was fighting for his life at St Luke's Hosptial last night after a collision on the Xemxija Hill.

The man, who was riding a Honda CBR, was involved in a collision with a BMW at about 5 p.m.

The female passenger in the BMW was treated for injuries. The 42-year-old woman driver was suffering from shock.

Duty magistrate Edwina Grima appointed experts to help in the inquiry.
