Wied iz-Zurrieq promenade

Hats off to whoever designed the Wied Iz-Zurrieq promenade. It was necessary, not only for safe passage on that stretch to Hagar Qim, but also to hundreds of people using it as their exercise route. The project is compatible with the promulgation of healthcare; it is a means against obesity so it is economically wise.

I suggest it is extended to Ghar Lapsi. The area is a shambles and it could be turned into a recreational area. There are no obstacles as the area is flat. May the Qrendi, Zurrieq and Siggiewi councils put pressure on Government to fork out some funds.

Millions have been spent elsewhere. Now it is this area's turn. Maybe Resources and Infrastructure Minister Ninu Zammit could help.
