How is it possible that such misbehaviour keeps on repeating itself day in day out, summer after summer, without, it seems, intervention from the authorities? Are we expecting to read about some nasty accident - someone's nerves flare up as he, rightly, feels he has had enough of such uncalled for nuisance behind his door?

Couldn't unruly students, after being warned at their respective classes, be taken to a police station and kept there for a few hours? This might teach them (and the rest) a lesson. Or, couldn't the unruly ones be asked to pack up and be sent back home on the next possible flight?

Drastic, true. But it's about time that we show these students that Malta is not a free-for-all country.
