The FA Cup and Carling Cup in Malta

Committee members of the Chelsea Supporters Club - Malta yesterday welcomed the Carling Cup and the FA Cup to Malta.

The two trophies, which Chelsea won last season, were brought over thanks to the club's efforts so that local supporters of Chelsea Football Club could celebrate the winning of the two trophies.

The trophies arrived in Malta courtesy of British Airways and were accompanied by Chelsea Football Club's director of supporters clubs, Diane Broom.

Ms Broom was the guest of the Gillieru Hotel, in St Paul's Bay.

The Chelsea Supporters Club - Malta last night held a celebration barbeque at the Suncrest Hotel called The Cups By The Pool.

This evening, members of Chelsea Supporters Club - Malta are invited to a reception at the club premises in Mosta before the trophies return to the Chelsea Football Club in London.
