Mitsubishi is offering a financial package on the Colt that includes no deposit and a repayment scheme over seven years with monthly payments of Lm99/€230.61 (APR 10.55 per cent).

The Colt is powered by a 1.1 litre engine that the makers say strikes the optimum balance between power and torque, fuel economy and clean emissions.

The Colt has earned a four-star NCAP crash test rating.
