In my view, there is too much fuss and expenditure on the lira/euro changeover. I hope that more money will be spent after January 2008 to ensure law enforcement. What most of us are afraid of is not the change in currency but the change in prices. We are already paying in certain third rate bars 90c for a bottle of local water! Price hiking is the real danger! This is both immoral and inflationary.
