Obituary

BORG. On September 3, at his summer residence, GEORGE W., aged 66, surrounded by his loving family and comforted by the rites of Holy Church. He leaves to mourn his great loss his beloved wife Lina, his dear son Josef, his daughters Maria and her husband Sam Mallia, Joanne and her husband Charles Sciriha, his grandsons Mark, Andrea and Matthew, his brothers, sister and their families in Australia and Canada, in-laws, nephews and nieces, other relatives and friends.
Mass praesente cadavere will be said today at 4.30 p.m. at Our Saviour parish church, Lija, followed by interment at Lija cemetery. The family regret they are unable to receive visitors.
Lord, grant him eternal rest.

CHIRCOP. On September 2, GINNIE of Sta Venera, aged 96, a very loving, thoughtful and generous mother and grandmother, passed away peacefully comforted by the rites of Holy Church. She leaves to mourn her great loss her seven children Hilda, Evelyn and Mary, members of the MUSEUM Society, Walter and his wife Deirdre, Marlene and her husband René, Doris and her husband John, Philip and his wife Carmen, his nine grandchildren and their families and 11 great-grandchildren, other relatives and friends.
The funeral leaves St Luke's Hospital today at 8 a.m. for Sta Venera parish church where Mass is being celebrated at 8.30 a.m., followed by interment at the Santa Maria Addolorata Cemetery.

EBEJER - On September 3, at St Luke's Hospital, EVARISTO, of Valletta who resided at Fleur De Lys, widower of Edwige, aged 90, passed away peacefully comforted by the rites of Holy Church. He leaves to mourn his great loss his children Godfrey, Marika, Edith and her husband Frances, his grandchildren, Kevin, Clive and his wife Sue Anna, Dunston and his girlfriend Tiziana, Boris, Claire and her husband Yarek, Martin and his girlfriend Marvic, his great-grandchild Daniel, his sister Edwige, his wife's siblings and their families, other relatives and friends.
The funeral leaves St Luke's Hospital today at 2 p.m. for Tal-Karmnu church, Fleur De Lys where Mass praesente cadavere will be said at 2.30 p.m. followed by interment in the family grave at the Santa Maria Addolorata cemetery. No flowers by request but donations to Dar tal-Providenza, Siggiewi, will be appreciated.

GAUCI. On September 1, at Sir Paul Boffa Hospital, EDWARD, aged 71, passed away peacefully comforted by the rites of Holy Church. He leaves to mourn his loss his wife Catherine, his children Claudia, Reinhold and his girlfriend Dorothy, and Alexia and her husband Bernard Sultana Stoner, his sisters Sister Ignatius Gauci and Helen, his brothers Paul and his wife Lilian, Joe and his wife Connie, Charles and his wife Mary, Frank and his wife Marika, John and his wife Jennifer, nephews and nieces, other relatives and friends. - R.I.P.
The funeral leaves Sir Paul Boffa Hospital today at 2 p.m. for St Helen's Basilica, Birkirkara, where Mass praesente cadavere will be said at 2.30 p.m., followed by interment at the Santa Maria Addolorata Cemetery. No flowers by request but donations to The Malta Hospice Movement, Balzan, will be appreciated.

HATCHARD. On September 3, RUBY of London, UK, residing for the past three years at Casa Antonia, Balzan, aged 93. She leaves to mourn her loss Olive, widow of her dear brother Roy and her dear friends Carmen and Graham Goddard.
A service praesente cadavere will be held tomorrow at 3 p.m. at the Santa Maria Addolorata Cemetery chapel.
Grateful thanks to the management and staff of Casa Antonia for their love and care during her stay.

MIZZI. On September 1, at St Luke's Hospital, SAVIOUR of Rabat, aged 91, passed away peacefully comforted by the rites of the Holy Church. He leaves to mourn his great loss his beloved children Katie, Laura, Joe and Marlene, together with their spouses and children. - R.I.P.
The funeral leaves St Luke's Hospital tomorrow at 3 p.m. for St Dominic church, Rabat, where Mass praesente cadavere will be said at 3.30 p.m., followed by interment at Rabat cemetery.

RYLANCE. On September 3, ROY, aged 72, passed away peacefully comforted by the rites of Holy Church. He leaves to mourn his loss his wife Vicky, his children Anne Marie and her husband Chris, Claire and her husband David, Alexandra and her husband Stephen and Tanya and her husband Mark, his 10 grandchildren, his sisters, sisters-in-law, nephews and nieces and his many friends both in Malta and UK.
Mass praesente cadavere will be said today at 3.30 p.m. at Mellieha parish church, followed by interment at the Queen of Victories Cemetery, Mellieha. The family regret they are unable to receive visitors.
May he rest in peace.
