Boy, 17, on drug charges

A 17-year-old boy was yesterday charged with the possession of heroin and cocaine with the intent to sell.

The minor was remanded in custody after Magistrate Jacqueline Padovani heard how there was the risk that a witness would be approached by the accused.

Police Inspector Norbert Ciappara prosecuted.

Lawyer Franco Debono appeared for the minor.
