Expression of appreciation

We, the Little Sisters of the poor, are an international, religious congregation caring for the elderly poor all over the world.

In Kenya we have established homes in Mombasa and Nairobi. Here in Nairobi we are situated at Kasarani opposite the sports complex and next to the Central Glass Factory (Safari Park Hotel Stage).

We care for elderly poor of all nationalities and beliefs. At the moment, we look after 65 elderly poor who live in the home.

Our home depends on generous donations to meet the daily needs in all the necessary provisions, water, gas, electricity, medical care, etc. We acknowledge, with great appreciation, the Mission Fund's generous donation of $1,582.50.

This money has enabled us to begin the work of replacing the road in our compound with paving blocks, as it was full of holes and a danger to the old people in our care. This assistance has successfully covered the costs of 139.5 square metres of road.
