Rating the top restaurants

People who dine out regularly are being invited to participate in the annual Malta and Gozo restaurant survey.

Ratings and comments made by the respondents to the survey will assist the compilers in the drawing up of the restaurant guide - The Definitive(ly) Good Guide To Restaurants In Malta And Gozo - sponsored by Marsovin Ltd and HSBC, which will, in turn, help to improve Malta's restaurant infrastructure by guiding locals and tourists to the good restaurants, the promoters said.

Input and comments determine which restaurants will be included in the guide. The top-rated 40 restaurants receive awards by the Minister for Tourism at an annual gala dinner held in December.

Regular diners can also participate in the annual survey online (www.restaurantsmalta.com) or in today's edition of The Times. The online survey allows diners to return to the survey, at any time before the deadline, to continue voting for their favourite restaurants or amend their rating.
