The Alf. Mizzi & Sons (Marketing) Group, who have been ISO 9001:2000 certified for the past nine years, recently extended the scope of their certification to incorporate food safety.
They are the first in their sector to have been awarded certification by Moody International in ISO 9001:2000 plus HACCP. This certification covers both the quality management system of the group as well as the HACCP System.
HACCP is an international standard for control of food safety.
Maintaining these standards will ensure that all the products handled by the Alf. Mizzi & Sons (Marketing) Group reach their clients in an optimal condition to guarantee food safety and customer satisfaction, a company statement said.
