The first international pre-season tournament organised by Paola Hibs Candy will be held between next Friday and Tuesday.
Two foreign clubs, one from Estonia and the other from Ireland, will be competing together with the Malta champions at the Corradino Sports Pavilion.
Estonia's Volley Club Paide are one of the top three teams in the country's Division Two league.
The Irish will be represented by a squad from the University College of Dublin. The team, coached by Paul McKeever, has won numerous trophies over the past seasons with the latest being the Ireland Association Cup earlier this year.
University College of Dublin finished second in the Irish Division One in 2006/07.
Friday's first fixture, at 8.30 p.m., pits together hosts Hibs and University College Dublin who play Volley Club Paide on Sunday at 11 a.m. in their second match.
On Saturday, players from the three teams in the pre-season event will figure in a friendly one-day beachvolley tournament at Pretty Bay, Birzebbuga.
