One sunny morning during the summer holidays Quicky and his family decided to go to the beach. Quicky invited Zoko to go with them. Zoko was his friend.
Quicky's father drove to Ghardira, a sandy beach in the northern part of Malta, where he parked the car, and they all went to the bay. Zoko and Quicky went down to swim, while Quicky's parents prepared the food they brought with them. Quicky and Zoko played with Quicky's Frisbee and ball on the shore. When they were tired, they went up to rest and eat and drink. 20070829-junior--quickyb.jpgThen they bought an ice cream each. After that they rented a paddleboat and went round the bay. As they were paddling, Quicky fell into the sea. But he had a lifesaver so he didn't drown. With some help from Zoko Quicky was again safe on the boat. When it was getting dark, they packed everything and went back home. They took a warm bath and went happily to sleep. This was Quicky's best day ever.
