Mattel, a leading manufacturer of children's toys, is conducting a voluntary recall of some of its products, local agent Tradeways Ltd said yesterday.

There have been isolated cases worldwide where magnets become detached from the products, it said.

Only specific models of the toy products listed are being recalled: Barbie and Tanner ™, Batman™ Magna Battle Armor™ Figure, Batman™ Flight Wing™ Figure, Batman™ Secret ID™ Figure, Batman™ Flying Fox ™ Figure, One Piece ™ Triple Slash Zolo Roronoa™ Figure, Doggie Day Care ™, Polly Pocket Toys and Sarge Cars, or Assortments containing Sarge Cars.

Consumers are to return any of these products to Tradeways Limited, Mgr. M. Azzopardi Street, Mosta or ToyMagic, Smart Super Market, Naxxar Road, Birkirkara, against a release of a credit note or other refund.
