Top clash ends in 4-4 draw

Pharmavet move up to fourth

Week seven of the Middlesea League at the Eden SuperBowl saw Pharmavet move up into fourth place thanks to their 8-0 thrashing of QF Ltd, while a similar win over Redwell Heating helped HSBC improve their lowly position.

The much-awaited clash between top two Fina First and Aercomms ended in a four-all draw, while in other matches there were majority wins for NINE against Ramis and also Union Capital Group over Royal Shock.

While Fina, Aercomms and Union Capital appear to be monopolising the top three spots so far this season, Pharmavet made progress to go fourth thanks to their easy win against QF Ltd, an improvement of three places in the standings the reward for their success.

The opener of the set was a thriller, falling to Aercomms 799-786 late in the game but Fina were soon on level terms thanks to their 697-739 equaliser in game two.

Game three was another close one, going to Aercomms 777-767 but their two victorious games were not enough to claim the match, as Fina's better series total made sure of an equal share of the spoils (2,273-2,292).
