Sponsorship for Hospice Movement's annual summer club

HSBC Cares for Children Fund (HCCF) is sponsoring the annual summer club organised by the Malta Hospice Movement for the fourth consecutive year.

The club is run by trained volunteers who provide weekly summer activities for the children and grandchildren of cancer patients and their families.

"Both cancer patients and their carers go through a tremendous trauma," said Doriette Camilleri, who presented the sponsorship to the Malta Hospice Movement on behalf of HCCF.

"The Malta Hospice Movement provides a suitable environment where these people can relax and recharge their energies to be able to face again months of worries and quite stressful situations."
