On a positive note

Having just purchased a two-litre Smiles ice cream pack, I was not entirely satisfied with the product. Therefore I immediately contacted Golden Harvest, who are producing Smiles ice cream products at their new 'state-of-the-art' factory in San Gwann. On their part, they contacted Alf. Mizzi & Sons who are the local distributors of Smiles ice cream products. The following day a very courteous lady from Alf. Mizzi and Sons phoned back to enquire about my complaint.

On having explained why I was not satisfied with their product, I was assured that my complaint would be given the utmost attention. Indeed they did and shortly afterwards two salesmen from Alf. Mizzi & Sons were knocking at my door. Indeed, rather than two litres, they delivered four litres.

Finally, I must thank David Tabone, the senior sales manager of Alf. Mizzi & Sons, for the way he deals with customer complaints. He is an asset to his company. (Ray Muscat)
