Deputy Prime Minister Tonio Borg has filed a libel suit against the Labour Party and Frans Ghirxi as editor of the newspaper l-orizzont.

Dr Borg claimed that the advert entitled Kumpens ta' kwazi Lm70,000 (€163,000) (Compensation of almost Lm70,000) - published in l-orizzont on Wednesday - was libellous and defamatory in his regard.
