Bingo Ltd, the company that runs the bingo halls at the Embassy Complex, in Valletta, and the Preluna Towers, in Sliema, will be making regular donations to charity organizations.

This follows a decision by the company's board of directors and the first donation, of Lm500, will be made to Razzett tal-Hbiberija, in Marsascala.

A spokesman said the company's board has drawn up a list of charity organisations that will benefit from such donations. "The specific objectives are aimed at helping the most needy charities but not only. Those making sterling contributions in tackling some of the more headstrong social problems will also qualify," the spokesman added.

Although the donations will come from a proportion of the profits made by the two bingo leisure facilities, none of the donations will be under Lm500, the spokesman said.
