I congratulate the warden who, on Wednesday, August 8, at 10 a.m. sharp, was driving his car, and scrupulously performed his duties by booking a foreigner who parked his car, with a foreign number plate, on the left-hand side, on a double yellow line, in St Luke Street, corner with St Aristarchus Street, St Paul's Bay, because there was no space available for proper parking.
Can anyone guess where the warden parked his car to carry out his duties? Haphazardly, on the right-hand side, at the corner of St Luke Street corner with St Aristarchus Street, just on the opposite side of the offender, having half of his car abutting on St Aristarchus Street and the other half on the double yellow lines in St Luke Street, obstructing the traffic flow turning from St Aristarchus Street into St Luke Street.
This is the kind of law-abiding wardens that we have on the island who are supposed to educate the populace.
