Balkan Jewel open day at Calypso Hotel

Works on project starts on schedule

Dhalia's Gozo office and Balkan Property Investments, a Dhalia-led consortium of Maltese investors, will be launching the Balkan Jewel project in Gozo. The launch will consist of an exhibition of the project with the participation of Dhalia property managers who will be available to give free consultations about the project.

The exhibition is being held tomorrow between 6.30 and 10.30 p.m. at the newly refurbished Calypso Hotel in Marsalforn, Gozo.

The works on the Balkan Jewel has already commenced and the underground parking facilities are nearing completion. All works are expected to be complete according to the planned schedule, and the project will be able to receive the first guests by December 2008. Works on the adjacent 18-hole golf course designed by Ian Woosnam (Ryder Cup captain 2006) are also in an advanced stage.

To ensure that all construction and finishing deadlines are kept, Balkan Property Investments have appointed Vector Management International, who will see the project through to completion. Vector Management Bulgaria, a subsidiary of Vector Management International, succeeded in establishing itself as one of the leading project management companies in Bulgaria. It is currently responsible for overseeing the development of a number of residential, commercial and hospitality developments across the country. On completion of construction and finishing, Colliers International will be responsible for property management of The Balkan Jewel.

Spread over 7,500 m2 of land, The Balkan Jewel comprises 160 apartments, and includes various amenities including restaurant, outdoor swimming pool, mini market, gym, sauna, steam room, children's play area and underground parking facilities. The mix of apartments includes studio, and one- and two-bedroom apartments, most of which enjoy stunning south-facing views of the Pirin Mountains. This residential development is situated in the idyllic Razlog Valley, near the ski resort of Bansko in Bulgaria.

The Razlog Valley area is an extremely popular location that offers endless activities all the year round. It is only six kilometres away from the ski slopes, and offers an idyllic setting with stunning country and mountain views.
