Sliema ASC are the winners of the ASA 2007 U-14 and U-17 national leagues. In their final match against Neptunes on Thursday, Sliema's U-14 team came back from 6-4 down to draw 6-6 and clinch the point they needed to clinch the title. Sliema U-17 cruised to a 22-8 victory over Neptunes in their final encounter to secure the title for the third year in succession. Both matches were played at the Edwin Meli Pool, Sliema. Remy D'Amato, ASA secretary, presented the trophies to Ian Scerri and Jerome Gabaretta, captains of the Sliema U-14 and U-17 teams respectively.
