Motor sport's International Court of Appeal (ICA) will hear McLaren's appeal against the loss of constructors points at the Hungarian GP on September 19, governing body FIA said yesterday.

Lewis Hamilton won the race for McLaren with team-mate Fernando Alonso fourth after the Spanish world champion was relegated to sixth on the starting grid for blocking Hamilton in the pit-lane during qualifying.

After the controversial qualifying session race stewards decided that McLaren would not be awarded any team points, meaning they lost the 15 they would have received.

An appeal was launched earlier this month by Britain's Motor Sports Association on behalf of the McLaren team.

British rookie Hamilton leads Alonso in the drivers championship by seven points. McLaren lead the constructors championship with 138 points to Ferrari's 119.
