Gozo music festival tonight

Morena and the Spectrum Band will perform tonight at the sixth edition of the Gozo Music Festival.

This sixth edition, held at the Maxtura Fields, on the way to Marsalforn, will host three arenas: House, summer anthems and disco classics, and live rock.

The festival is the ideal platform for artistes, bands and DJs. This year's event showcases international acts Prezioso & Marvin, Shena and Erick E, brought to Malta by the organisers Dynamic Promotions, in collaboration with Fresh Music Agency.

The latest local attraction, Morena, together with the Spectrum Band, will go on stage at 9.45 p.m.

The Spectrum Band was established in Gozo in the late 1970s. Having participated in several local and foreign festivals, including a band festival in San Remo in 1996, the band has produced several original hits including Hamiema Bajda (1989).
