Faith grows when shared

Malta has for ever been known to be one of the first in generosity towards the missions. Indeed, solidarity and sharing with the needy remains one of her characteristics. The Church in Malta continues to reach out not only to her needs but those of Churches in particular and difficult situations.

This it does through the many Maltese missionaries, lay and religious, all over the world and through the different missionary organisations. In particular, I would like to thank the Mission Fund and all its benefactors for the generous contribution to help the immigrants and especially their children of our foreign and pilgrim Church in a Muslim context. It is incredible how used stamps and telecards can generate enough for the many needs of our vulnerable brothers and sisters looking for a future.
