The FIA said today that McLaren's appeal against the loss of their constructors' championship points at the Hungarian Grand Prix will be heard on September 19, six days after the appeal in the spy case.

McLaren had won 15 points in Hungary thanks to Lewis Hamilton's first place and Fernando Alonso's fourth, but the points were docked by the stewards because Fernando Alonso blocked teammate Lewis Hamilton in the pits during qualifying for the race in Hungary. That enabled Ferrari to narrow their gap to the Woking team in the constructors championship by eight points, thanks to Kimi Raikkonen's second position in Hungary. McLaren are still 19 points ahead.
