Hard Rock International has named the Malta cafe as the company's latest "Top of the Rock", an award presented to six franchise and six company-owned cafes each year based on financial performance, unique sales accomplishments and community contributions.
Selected from 123 cafes worldwide, Hard Rock Cafe Malta was also deemed "Top of the Rock" in September 2004.
As a result of the award, Hard Rock Cafe Malta has earned the privilege to display a special piece of memorabilia from Hard Rock's prized collection - a specially designed Ace Frehley signature series Gibson Les Paul smoking guitar from the 1996-1997 Kiss Reunion world tour - for two months. A plaque documenting its recipients and its travels will accompany the memorabilia. Furthermore, a recognition plaque will be presented to the cafe as a sign of its performance and accomplishments.
Hard Rock Cafe Malta will also be inducted into the company's Performance Hall of Fame at the corporate offices in Orlando.
