JMFS extend New Star agreement

Jesmond Mizzi Financial Services Ltd (JMFS) recently renewed its agreement with New Star International as representatives in Malta of New Star Global Investment Funds plc.

The agreement, reached in 2003, has been extended until May 2013.

JMFS Ltd was set up in September 2002 and was issued a category two licence by the Malta Financial Services Authority to provide investment services.

New Star is an investment management company and is quoted on the London Stock Exchange. It held €36.7 (Lm15.8) billion assets under management at the end of June, growing steadily since the company was founded in June 2000.

One of the significant factors that distinguishes New Star from other investment companies is that all permanent staff are share or option holders.

New Star's headquarters are in Knightsbridge, London and it also has offices in Dublin, Hong Kong, Madrid and Switzerland.
