Three special meetings with Archbishop Paul Cremona are being organised for children as the beginning of a chance for them to participate more directly and in a more concrete way in the life of the church. They are being organised by Fr Charles Cordina, Pastoral Secretary at the Archbishop's Curia, together with a working committee.

The summer meetings for boys and girls aged eight to 12 will be held on August 20 at 7 p.m., on the parvis of the Marsascala church, for children from Fgura, Zabbar, the three cities, Kalkara, Luqa, Paola, Santa Lucia, and Marsascala.

On August 21 at 7.00pm children from Mellieha, Manikata, Burmarrad, Gharghur, Mgarr, Mosta, Naxxar, St Paul's Bay, and Qawra are invited to the parvis of the Qawra church.

On Children from Gudja, Ghaxaq, Marsaxlokk, Zejtun, Kirkop, Mqabba, Qrendi, Safi, Zurrieq, and Birzebbuga are invited to the parvis of the Birzebbuga church, on September 6, at 7 p.m.

Children will also be invited to have their say at special child-friendly parish assemblies in October and November. All this will lead to the setting up next year of a Church Commission of Children.
