More focus on self-employed

L-Ghaqda Imprendituri Maltin u Ghawdxin, the association of entrepreneurs, has expressed disappointment that the government's pre-budget document fails to address in depth the situation of the sector of self-employed.

The association notes that the considerations mentioned in the document are aimed more at those who are unemployed than at those who are self-employed, and that they fall short of the measures required to improve the latter's financial position.

It is calling on the government to review its plans for the budget with the self-employed in mind.
