Valletta streets such as St Ursula, St John's and Sta Lucia will be candle-lit on Friday for the next BOV Streets Alive event, dubbed Valletta Romantica.
The romantic at heart can hum along to the tunes of CantaNapoli at the Upper Barrakka Gardens, a show of Neapolitan song and melodies and excerpts from operettas by the Valletta Dramatic Company.
Elegance and style were the central themes of last Friday's BOV Streets Alive, the fourth in a series of six consecutive Fridays. The city hosted an exhibition of classic cars, a parade of Ferraris and ballroom dancing at the Casino Maltese. Themed treasure hunts and discounted karrozzini rides took place as Etnika performed at the Old Opera House ruins.
BOV Streets Alive is an initiative of the Valletta Alive Foundation and is supported by Bank of Valletta, the Ministry for Tourism and Culture, the Malta Tourism Authority and Allied Newspapers.
