WasteServ is currently reforming the bring-in sites collection system intended to include more frequent cleaning of the sites, a revision of the routes to increase efficiency, and the monitoring of the sites so that they will be maintained in a clean state.

Until the new system comes into force, the already set-up sites will continue to be emptied under the current system.

However, installation of new bring-in sites will be restricted to having new sites integrated with the enhanced system once it starts operating.

Through the EU Structural Funding, WasteServ aims at introducing around 400 such sites in Malta and Gozo.
