The Rugby Football Union (RFU) announced yesterday that Strettle would undergo surgery to have a screw inserted into the fifth metatarsal in his left foot, which he fractured during training on Wednesday.
The statement added that the Harlequins player had the operation yesterday and faced 12 weeks on the sidelines.
