Nature Trust has expressed its satisfaction over the MLP statement that the party will do anything within the law and Mepa regulations to try and reverse the Ramla permit.

The NGO said in a statement that the fact that the permit for the Ulysses Lodge in Gozo was granted years back does not justify the issuing of a fresh permit for development, even if such construction would be limited to the existing foot print.

Once the old development had been abandoned, the site should have been turned into an Outside Development Zone.
