Firm Recycles Old Stationery
Go employees recently teamed up with the management to contribute towards a recycling campaign by handing in obsolete stationery.
Staff members handed in massive amounts of old stationery ranging from promotional material and letterheads to envelopes, business cards and other customer-facing stationery.
The company is expected to process two jam-packed 20-foot containers with this material for recycling through a local waste management operator.
The company's predecessor, Maltacom, collected old directories from customers to be sent abroad for recycling as an integral part of its door-to-door distribution of new directories.
Meanwhile, the company's mobile arm, Go Mobile has for many years utilised carrier bags and even top-up cards manufactured from paper-based material which is also the case for Go's current paper-based stationery and cards.
